I am a native Texan born and raised in Dallas. After graduating from Lake Highlands High School, I attended Oklahoma State for a short while, until I realized Texas was the place for me. I transferred to Texas A&M, where I graduated with a degree in Leadership Development.
With my experience, I am able to understand the grind that our candidates go through on a daily basis.
After graduating, I decided to give the start-up life a try in Dallas. The potential was fantastic. However, I realized after a while that I needed to be able to afford food and rent, so I took my sales and customer service experience and moved into outside sales. One night, while looking at other job opportunities, I sent a group text to two of my friends, who worked for a recruiting firm, to see what opportunities they were working on here in Dallas. I have been at Pursuit ever since.
With my experience, I am able to understand the grind that our candidates go through on a daily basis. It is that understanding that I bring to the table, when walking through the process with our candidates. We are a team the whole way.
Outside of work, I am kind of all over the place. My hobbies include anything from being married, to landscaping, to playing basketball: I play in a church basketball league occasionally, so don’t be surprised if you see me playing with the Mavs this season. On the weekends I volunteer, leading a Sunday School class full of 9th grade guys at the church that made such an impact on my life.
