I was born right here in Dallas and spent most of my childhood thereafter in Cabot, Arkansas. Right before middle school, I moved to my parent's native Fort Worth, Texas and remained there through high school. After a short stint in San Antonio at UTSA, I returned home to the DFW area to earn my degree at UT Arlington in both Marketing and Management.
Upon graduating, I spent a little over a year selling digital advertising in the B2B space. Sales rewarded based on merit was a constant learning experience, and most importantly afforded a chance to make a quantifiable difference in the success of businesses globally - it really was love at first sight.
Among the bounty of knowledge sales had given me, I'd come to the realization that many sales centric organizations are "all profit, no people" in that the bottom line mattered more than their staff, communities, and most disappointingly their customers. It was in that moment of revelation I'd pondered "what if I could not just work for a company that did things 'the right way' for themselves but helped other companies build a sales culture that did the same?" As if an occurrence of divine intervention, shortly thereafter I was approached by a recruiter for Pursuit and jumped on the opportunity to be part of a team and culture that embodied more of my "wish list" attributes than I'd ever imagined possible.
Outside of work I can more than likely be found on a walk with my cocker spaniel Koko, enjoying the hidden gems of cuisine at a local hole in the wall, or cooking. I'm a huge pro sports fan and enjoy watching the Rangers, Mavs, and most of all the Packers, whose culture of "excellence with integrity" I intend on interminably applying to help our clients sculpt their salesforces."
